Hi there! I’m a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I’m based in San Diego, but offer teletherapy services for all California residents. I dedicate myself to improving the wellbeing of children, teens, and adults who are a helping hand away from becoming the healthiest and happiest version of themselves.

Like many Californians I relocated here from the Midwest in search of better opportunities (and better weather) along with my husband and our puppies. I’m an avid gardener, and have found the skills this hobby cultivates carry over to my career; patience, observation, and a fundamental appreciation for the innate beauty and unique needs of every living thing. Professionally, I’m a nurse with a specialized graduate education that allows me to diagnose and prescribe medication with integrated therapy in collaboration with a psychiatrist. Much of my work has been with children, adolescents and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. I have over 12 years of healthcare experience including work at Rady Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I know firsthand the pain of discrimination, disregard, and misdiagnosis by healthcare professionals; that is why I strive to provide a caring, non-judgmental dialogue so everyone can feel their voice is heard.
